Charlton Heston said when they were shooting Touch of Evil, he couldn't sleep at might thinking about it. It made me immediately think of the scene in Psycho where she is putting her clothes back on in the hotel room with John Gavin. I'll bet Heston gave that a glance or two.
shareThose "torpedo" bras were common in those days. I remember my mother and lots of ladies and even girls at school wearing them. Torpedo boobs and tight sweaters. It was just the style of the time and nobody thought twice about it. At least not the women wearing them, perhaps male onlookers thought a lot about them! Teenage girls wore cardigan sweaters back to front with the buttons up the back, and those torpedo boobs leading the way! 😱😀
