SPOILERS

A great movie until the cat miraculously appeared. About 14 years later in League of Gentlemen, a kid who liked license plates had the same function. Then, there just happened to be a light switch at the end of a long wire laid on the ground. Boo.

Agatha Christie would not have allowed some of the plot holes in this movie.
