The concentrate/acid that was being poured into that uninviting bath was guaranteed by Clive to "dissolve every atom of flesh and bone in the human body within a few hours". Very strange then that it couldn't burn through an ordinary rubber hot water bottle.

shareThey never specified the acid. Just because it could interact with and dissolve the human body doesn’t mean it will dissolve everything else. Unless there is some similarity in the molecular structure of the rubber they used in those hot water bottles and flesh. Breaking Bad pointed out how HF can eat through about everything (especially bone) but a cheap plastic container could easily hold it.
