Clive's Penalty
U.K. lawyers: Please provide list of crimes of which Clive would have been charged, the potential penalties and whether the sentences would have been concurrent or consecutive. Also, what his likely prison job would have been.
shareI'm not a lawyer but I'm from the UK. We had the death sentence in 1949 so had he been charged with intention to commit premeditated murder then he would have got life if not the death penalty. Lesser charges of kidnapping and ABH might have been added but intention to commit a murder would have outweighed those.

I'm also not a lawyer and also from the UK. Attempted murder did not carry the death penalty. Apologies to Poppy T if he/she is actually saying that but the phrasing of the middle line can be read in two ways.
