We know that Francis spoke good english (producer/writer option) but I think it would be really great if he spoke Mandarin Chinese! Think about it, O'Connor and Francis would spend the whole movie trying to communicate!! A barrel of laughs!

Your post was interesting. So children should practice manners well instead of practice good manners? My use of good was as an adjective, not an adverb. I have a feeling you are a young person and thought you were being cool? Oh, and try spelling the word obviously correctly the next time you show off here. That was kind of funny.

shareHouston guy is a semi-literate prig. "Francis spoke good English" is perfectly good English, if your goal is to write informally. "Francis spoke English well" is also correct, but sounds more like you're a pedantic little professor who's showing off because nobody pays enough attention to you.
