Hardy Without Laurel?

It was so unusual to see Oliver Hardy performing without Stan Laurel.

It happened five times apparently. 'Hardy also appeared with Harry Langdon in Zenobia (1939), with Bing Crosby in Riding High (1950), and in two cameos Barnum & Ringling, Inc. and Choo-Choo!'

He fell in the water in one scene though.

Hardy's falling in the water reminded me of him in 'Way Out West' when he keeps sinking under while Laurel and the mule cross the river safely. Although Oliver Hardy isn't the same without his comic partner I thought that he gave a good performance in this.
