Superb

I'm shocked and chagrined that this superb film by Otto Preminger, a real master of his craft, isn't more well known. I was astonished at the sheer invention of the blocking and camerawork in the film, and the acting performances were tremendous, particularly that of George Sanders during his balcony scene with Jeanne Craine. Excellent, criminally underrated film.
