British re-release

A bit more for trivia fans. Cashing in on the sword and sandal revival, British distributor New Realm re-issued Fabiola in 1960 as The Fighting Gladiator and Fabiola, and the film enjoyed a humble second life as a "Sunday for one night only" attraction. The title was a bit of a mouthful, however, and most cinemas dropped Fabiola from the billing, with only Stoke-on-Trent (in December 1964) announcing the film as The Fighting Gladiator and Fabiola.
