the cameraman goes momentarily insane?

at about an hour in, when sam is placing the ad in the paper and midway through the scene -- the camera starts wandering around and not just in a single shot. it's not hand-held, just constant little pans and tilts across a few different, previously established, locked-off shots (the master two-shot, and the close-ups on each man).

shaky-cam annoys me to no end, so to see this camera behavior suddenly appear bears no motivation whatsoever (they're in a building talking at a desk, not on a ship at sea). yet it was obviously done on purpose.
