'Would you care for a cigarette, Cathie?'


It struck me as odd to offer the young girl a cigarette. I'm sure he was joking, but it seemed an odd joke.

Nobody gets to be a cowboy forever.

Yes, it was a joke. I thought it was funny, and shook her up. It was cute as she ran up the stairs and tripped in her embarrassment.

I found it unethical and weird to ask a child to smoke.Very odd line in a average movie that had me more interested in the time period than anything else.Like the clothes,christmas tree decorations,kitchen,home decor speech,etc.Also it wasn't a clear enough story of why the man was killed,or his background(Some flashbacks would of helped.

I agree. The back story of the victim was just not there, other than a few comments from the cast.
