nearly perfect example of low budget noir, not only for it's cast, great adaptation of 4-'s jewish street gangs in Brooklyn. who can ask for more? very young tony Curtis, rich jaeckel. effective use of second tier actor steve McNally in lead role. deserves historic film status.
