Lot to Recommend

I agree, this was the 1st A&C movie I ever saw...back in the 60's. Late night "Creature Features".
Amazing that after all these years, they still make people laugh.
And w/o any of the vulgarity that is considered norm now.

"Under your skin like a splinter"

I love it when Lou is trapped in the cavern hole and is being drowned and calling for Casey. He does that a lot in this film, as though Casey's his father or something and he needs his help. And when he drinks all the water out of the bottle after escaping death in the steam bath.

My first A&C movie and I found it extremely unfunny and Costello only irritated me, but to each their own.
