Lyrics?

Some years ago I came across a CD with TV title songs on it, and it had a version of the Lone Ranger theme with a man with a rather high voice singing along with it. I quickly forgot about it, until I recently heard the William Tell overture on a classic CD.
That's when I realized I had forgotten the lyrics. All I remembered was the end of the first verse, so my memory was along the lines of:
"tiddy-um tiddy-um tiddy-um-tum-tum, tiddy-um tiddy-um tiddy-um-tum-tum,
tiddy-um tiddy-um tiddy-um-tum-tum, it's the Loooone Ranger"
And nothing more. All my efforts at googling have failed, and I can't find the CD. It's one of those little things that's forever niggling away in the back of my brain and is slowly driving me nuts.
Does anyone know the complete lyrics to the song (or indeed if the song version is from the TV or the radio version)?

I don't know the real lyrics, but I wrote some myself so hopefully they'll tide you over until you find the real ones.

THE LONE RANGER THEME (William Tell Overture)
by porfle

Omigod, omigod, here he comes again
With his faithful companion, an Indian friend
Striking fear in the hearts of evil men
It's the Loooone Ranger!

He chases the bad guys through the hills
And he shoots and he shoots but he never kills
And his show is sponsored by General Mills
It's the Loooone Ranger!

Tonto is his friend, and Silver is his horse
And he wears a shirt of blue and some bluish trousers too, and a fancy belt to hold them up of course
Silver are the slugs he fires out of his gun
And the people always ask, why he always wears a mask, but he rides away when his work is done

He's a man of steel with a heart of gold
And his horse is fast, and his friend is bold
And his story's the greatest ever told
It's the Loooone Ranger!

He rides and fights and shoots and saves the daaaaay!
Your evil plans are moot, he's on his waaaaay!
Hi...yo...Sil...ver...is...his...cry, and
Juuustice is his goooal! He'll right the wroooong, and take controool!
And if you think that you are really smart, or really slick, or really tough

Then try to rob a bank, I dare you toooooo!
Cheat a widow, he'll come after yooooou!
From...the...days...of...yes...ter...year, he's
Ooooon the side of goooood! The illest raaaanger in the 'hooood!
And if you cross him you will soon find out just what this dude is all about

Just what this dude is all about, what this dude is all about, all about, all about...

HEEEEEE'LL

Punch and hit and kick and scratch and crunch and rip and stomp and smash
And tie your legs in little bows and shove a cactus up your nose
And dump you in the nearest jail and ride away with a mighty wail
Of Hi-yo Silver, Hi-yo Silver (nothing rhymes with "Hi-yo Silver")

Join...us for another show...next...weeeeeeeeek.

There actually were specific lyrics written for the show and performed by a male choir. Here is what I learned of it from Wikipedia.org

There existed another title sequence, one more common to syndication, briefly telling the Ranger's origin and how he first met Tonto. The theme was sung by a male chorus, and the lyrics are as follows:

“ Six Texas Rangers (Hi-yo, hi-yo) rode in the sun (Hi-yo, hi-yo); Six men of justice rode into an ambush, and dead were all but one.
One lone survivor (Hi-yo, hi-yo) lay on the trail (Hi-yo, hi-yo); Found there by Tonto, the brave Injun Tonto, he lived to tell the tale.

(Hi-yo Silver, Hi-yo Silver away! Hi-yo Silver, Hi-yo Silver away!)

His wounds quickly mended (Hi-yo, hi-yo) and then in the night (Hi-yo, hi-yo), Six graves were put there to hide from the outlaws that one had lived to fight.

He chose silver bullets (Hi-yo, hi-yo) the sign of his name (Hi-yo, hi-yo); A mask to disguise him, a great silver stallion, and thus began his fame.

(Hi-yo Silver, Hi-yo Silver away! Hi-yo Silver, Hi-yo Silver away! THE LONE RANGER IS HIS NAME!)

This version of the opening credits was first seen in the episode "Lost City of Gold
