What was the name of the actress who played "Nurse Emulsion" in the 09/12/49 "Cousin Simon" episode?

She has a distinctive facial features (as well as a unique voice) and I know I've seen her in other things years ago, but don't know her name or remember what she was in.

I have The Ultimate Goldbergs" set and the credits list a Betty Walker for in that episode, but I've a feeling that might be the actress who played Simon's Secretary. From cross referencing the Betty Walker listed would've only been about 20 years old.

Anyway, I'm curious to know who she was and what else she starred in.

I just saw the episode and recognized the nurse immediately. She resembles Margaret Hamilton. I also know I've seen her in films or on TV but can't remember which ones. It's bugging me. I tried but I can't find out her name. Maybe someone will read your post and know who she is.

She looks and sounds like actress Doro Merande, a character actress who played the elderly
housekeeper in The Gazebo (1959) and the gossipy Mrs. Soames in Our Town (1940), as well as many other bit roles in movies
and TV.

BINGO!

I just looked her up, and found she was in The Twilight Zone episode "The Bard". I have the TZ blu-ray and pulled it out. Sure enough she plays the owner of a bookstore in that episode. I knew I'd seen her before, but didn't realize I actually had something with her in it.

It gets even better--

That TZ episode (The Bard) also has Henry Lascoe in it who plays Cousin Simon in the Same Goldbergs episode. Pretty cool!

Appearently, she played in Alfred Hitchcock Presents too. And had a recurring role on The Jackie Gleason Show (That's probably one place I remember her from as I used to watch Jackie Gleason pretty regularly as a kid).

Her name was Doro Merande and she was a standout in the already hysterically funny The Seven Year Itch.

In "Seven Year Itch" Doro played a waitress in a Health Food restaurant. When Tom Ewell asked about the special-of-the-day, she replied "Prime Rib of Celery."
