This might be Max Steiner's best score. Subtle, dark. I had to go back to the credits to make sure it was his.

Max Steiner may have written the score but that lovely theme that runs thoughout (the one Laura plays on the harpsichord) is a Pavan entitled "The Earle of Salisbury" and was written by the 16th century English composer Willam Byrd.
