I thought Jim Davis looked familiar
I had a feeling he had played Jock Ewing on Dallas. Just checked and he did. He was much better on Dallas than in this film.
I never watched Dallas but thought he looked familiar and then saw where he was in a lot of old westerns I had seen. I agree that this was not his best role. It wasn't Bette's best role either. This movie was quite boring.
