IMDb Trivia Page Strikes Again!

Once again IMDb has allowed a post on their trivia page that is patently BS and easily proven so. Somebody claims (we never know who) that:

The wind storm at the finale was created by borrowing some jet engines from the Mexican Air Force.

Anybody can make a mistake, but the movie was released in 1948. Jet aircraft and the engines that powered them were rare in 1948. The Mexican Air Force was still flying WWII vintage aircraft (they had a P-47 squadron in the Pacific during the war) throughout most of the 1950's. According to Wikipedia, the procured their first jet powered aircraft in late 1960.

Their 'factoid' (an item of information that looks and sounds like a fact, but is not) was easily proved wrong with less than five minutes of internet research.
