Is Jussac the guy D'Artagnon pushed into the pond at the end of the fight in the Garden? And into the English Channel at the end of the fight on the beach?

In the garden, just after D'Artagnon ran behind the big monument to taunt him, we have a closeup of Jussac starting after him, and you can see the button on the end of his sword. These are in place during 'fencing' to keep the action safe, but during a real fight they'd make the whole thing pointless (no, did not intend the pun).
