Big messup.

In chapter 11, Supe busts out of jail, saves lois, and goes to save Jimmy, who is hiding in a crate in a truck, he gets out to see where he is, then the truck hits a bump, the 2 bad guys take a look at what's going on, they see hands in the box about to close, both men shoot at the box. Chapter 12 has the obligatory take out which Superman takes Jimmy's place. Only 1 bad guy shoots the box. He tells the other henchman there was a man in the box but not now. HUH?

I know, that bothered me. That was probably my favorite scene despite the difference. They probably thought since people seen them a week apart that nobody would notice.

This was the standard way to get out of an impossible mess on serials in those days. I remember one where the good guy was standing on the top of a building (flat roof) when it blew up. You saw the countdown, you saw the bomb explode and the building start to fall apart around him. Switch to a long shot, showing the building standing alone on a vast empty plain. Next week, the show opens with the countdown of the bomb, and the good guy stepping off the roof onto the building right beside it before the bomb goes off...

It wasn't considered an error; it's just the way it was done.

That sounds a lot like "Captain Americe" Chapter one but I don't remember the long shot. Must remember though, many chapters from different serials had the same, or simular, endings.

That does sound like Captain America. And yes, I too have seen the same endings in several different serials, a quick way to save money.
Never depend on anything and you will never be disappointed.
