A 'revealing mistake'...isn't

Someone wrote in the synopisis, under revealing mistakes, that "Both the man and the woman portraying the "American Gothic" couple cast shadows on the background as they step into frame, revealing the house behind them is a painted flat."

It isn't a mistake. It's based on a PAINTING.

Who are these people who spend their time looking for flaws, when they should be looking at their own creativity?

This is true but, like the other scenes, they're meant to be look like the famous painting but they are real people not a painting. It doesn't make much difference in the story though.

Sometimes I notice goofs in movies. I've ended a few onto that section of a movie's page but it's rare. When I do see them they're usually already listed.

I'm always surprised that people feel the need to add things like hand positions or other slight mistakes that can obviously be attributed to multiple takes and don't really affect the outcome of the movie.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
