Does anybody know if this one is already on DVD?

It doesn't appear to be. But there will be a region 2 DVD released in the UK in March.

:( There are so many movies made in the US that aren't on DVD in Region 1...it's silly. African Queen, State Of The Union...even Holiday, up until recently. And even now you have to buy it as part of a collection.

I don't think The African Queen could be considered a "film made in the US";oD.

And is it, in fact, in color? I read a review that didn't mention it...

No. It's gorgeous black and white.

I have it on DVD, but it is a French DVD (region 2) with French sub-titles.
