The plane scene......

.....absolutely turned me off. I know I'm in the minority, but I have never been a big fan of Tracy, and this scene perfectly illustrates why. This is typical of many of the bull-headed characters he played. I don't consider this film a comedy but this scene and several others probably thrown in to cash in on the Tracy-Hepburn comedy appeal, seem out of place and unnecessary. The story is excellent and the two leads have good chemistry in their respective roles without having to stoop to cheap gags like this.
