This should be on DVD
This film should be rleased on DVD for it's sheer body of musical talent alone. As films of this type go it's one of the better one's. Even the non-actors are pretty good; a testament to Howard Hawkes directing abilities. The story is a good Danny Kaye vehicle but it is the music that should be preserved. I find it somewhat reprehensible that it hasn't been. Are we doomed to forever resort to grainy YouTube videos to view these great musicians' performances?
