Paramount will be releasing this masterpiece on DVD on May 16:

So where is the DVD? The only thing I can find online is the cover art.?. Does anyone know if/when the DVD will actually be released?...This situation is yet another example of how Paramount is the worst, most unreliable production company.

The film is availableon DVD in France; published by WildSideFilms; superb transfer; unfortunately with mandantory French subtitles. French title for the film is: "Le Secret Derrière La Porte".

TCM airs it at least once a year.

This is great. I will be seeing this film next week at a showing here in Los Angeles. I adore Joan Bennett, who was absolutely perfect for film noir. I first encountered her on the TV series Dark Shadows. Such a lady!
