The Monroe scenes

I googled for the DVD version of "Scudda Hoo Scudda Hay!" and found someone who was selling it. It arrived with a cover of the movie poster. In reference to the Monroe scenes as the writer on the home page...the copy I bought had two short Marilyn Monroe scenes...getting out of the boat while being hoisted by Robert Karnes an another where he's trying to get her INTO the boat. Natalie Wood steals every scene that features her. The copy I bought had good color and sound. However as another posted said, the movie will be on Fox Movie Channel in August. Let's all get our recorders ready to make a good copy off air or cable.
Fox Movie Channel has currently been showing another 'not available' movie of June Haver's, "I'll Get By". It shows what a terrific dancer she turned out to be in spite of no training and her admitting, "I don't know how to dance!".It's a good typical movie musical with June and Gloria DeHaven.

Where is Marilyn Monroe? I tuned in about 5 minutes after it started.

I watched this movie last night, and the boat/canoe scenes were not in it. The only scene with Marilyn Monroe was when she greets June Haver's charachter while leaving church, and June replies: "Oh, hi Betty."

My copy has a running time of 94+ minutes, and was recorded from Fox Moviechanel. On IMDb it says the movie is 95 mintes. So, I guess something was cut, though no much, but I wonder why. Was there something in the canoe scene some people might find offensive, so it was cut from certain copies? Or might it have been done on purpose, so the die hard MM fans have to buy the dvd to see her?

This was the last movie with MM I still had to see. It's certainly not the worst I had to sit through to catch a glimpse of her. I think the worst was "Green grass of Wyoming".
