Great music, great cast, gorgeous costumes, but...

I just am not enjoying this movie. I'm an hour in as we speak. I love the music, the cast and the actors are doing great, the costumes are to die for, but I'm just not enjoying the plot and scenario.

I can't put my finger on it. I'm no writer, so I don't know what I could change to make myself enjoy it better. I was a little disappointed when he saw and mistook Georgia for making out with her Oscar in her room; I suppose it seemed like it would take the romance away between her and Peter. You'd think that, no matter how big of a crush you have on someone, the fact that you know she's married and are here on a job to spy on her, you'd keep a bit more distance, and even if you did have a crush on her, seeing her truly commit adultery would completely change your opinion of her. That seemed to be where I started drifting off. I guess it had me going for a while that it was going to be simply Georgia and Peter falling in love, him realizing he can't have her from the situation, until the end when he realizes the mistake, and then they run into each other's arms and live happily ever after. But having Oscar there has just seemed to disrupt the whole thing.

I'm also a little disappointed at how little we've seen of Janis Paige and her husband; I was hoping we'd get to go back and forth a little more often.
