Jack Carson and Don DeFore could be twins.

Don DeFore and Jack Carson have a role in common. Jack played Hugo Barnstead in 1941's The Strawberry Blonde and Don played Hugo in the 1948 musical remake One Sunday Afternoon (also featuring Janis Paige). Both movies were directed by Raoul Walsh.

In 1942s The Male Animal Don played a college football champ and Jack was the same college's former football champ.

I was thinking the same thing. Even their comic timing was the same.

Haha. I thought I was the only one who thought that! The first time I saw this movie I couldn't tell them apart and got lost in the story line (because the movie was already about 15 minutes in when I tuned in, so I never saw the set up).
