New Material To Enjoy

Hey folks,

I just watched this "Whistler" film, thoroughly enjoyed it, and I figure I found some new film material to look forward to seeing. I say "new" because I have no recollection of seeing the "Whistler" films when they were first shown. I remember quite clearly listening to the "Whistler" radio shows when I was a young lad, but I simply do not remember the films. For all the time I spent in the theaters as a kid, I suspect I must have seen the films back then. So much time has passed since then, however, I am afraid my memory simply fails me.

For the past two years, I have been enjoying listening to old radio shows, and "The Whistler" is one of several I enjoy very much. As I listen to the shows in MP3 format, I think back to when I sat on my father's lap and, along with my brother and mother, we all sat around the radio in the evenings for our regular entertainment prior to the advent of television.

Now that I have seen this last of the "Whistler" films, I will look forward to recording and enjoying the others. To me, the "Whistler" shows almost always were well written stories, and I have always enjoyed good stories.

Best wishes,
Dave Wile
