My Stepfather FRED KENNEDY and one of his falling horses DIXIE...did the stunt where the horse race just ends and the horse drops dead. Compliments of Pat Mefferd ([email protected]) Forgot to add that he said he and DIXIE slid about 18 feet, she was running full bore! Horse and man came thru without a scratch!

I know it's been forever since you posted this, but I wanted to say I'm very glad to know your stepfather and the horse were fine afterwards. It was shocking to see that and I wondered if they were okay 
