I see no resemblance with "Xanadu", which actually is like "Down to Earth" (1947), as both are about Muses.

"POJ" deals with far different matters. It's impossible to peg it as a ghost story, a time travel story, etc.

"Xanadu" and "POJ" are romantic fantasies. They do share that.
