Copy of the original painting

Does anyone know where we can find a copy of the original "Portrait of Jenny" Painting???

reply

That is a good question. Sorry that I do not have an answer. I, too, would be interested in purchasing a copy of that amazing portrait.

I found an indentical copy of the original painting for a healthy price of $350. I believe that is a fair deal.
Thanks for posting that link to ebay. Some interesting items listed there.

Whatever was at that 11/09/2005 link to eBay is long gone now. If anyone ever hears or sees of a print of this painting, please post the information here. I'm sure there are a lot of us who'd love to have a copy of the portrait of Jennie.

The "Portrait" of Jennie was an original oil painting by the artist Robert Brackman. No known prints of it exist as far as I know. I've heard about the one on e-bay, but it must be a one of a kind. Jennifer Jones owns the original. She is an art collector and connosiuer of the arts. She might have had a print made. But when the portrait was painted in the 1940's, prints were rare. So if indeed any prints were made, they were made in the 1960's onward. I have been trying to get a print, but I doubt that is possible. Jennifer Jones owns and protects the rights of this painting, and she will probably never release it to the public in her lifetime. So, good luck.

There was a promotional print made for the movies release.

This from the back of a match book cover "You can have a beautiful, full color 14"x18" reproduction of this famous Portrait of Jennie painted by Robert Brackman. Mail this match book cover with 25(cents) in coin or stamps to Dept.M, Selznick Studio, Culver City, California.

Keep an eye on eBay.
