THREE (not two) Broadway stars from "Finian's" appear in this film.

The Trivia section for this film correctly mentions that both David Wayne (Gus) and Albert Sharpe (tavern owner Moore) were recruited from the cast of the hit Broadway musical "Finian's Rainbow", which had opened on January 10, 1947 and was running when Selznick was shooting "Jennie" in New York.

Wayne played Og the Leprechaun in "Finian's" (for which he won a couple of best actor awards), and Albert Sharpe, newly imported from the Irish stage, played the title role of Finian.

HOWEVER--- the black actress who plays Mrs. Morgan in "Jennie" was ALSO a member of the "Finian's Rainbow" cast at the time: Maude Simmons played a sharecropper in the show, and she had one HELL of a singing voice (which can be heard in the original cast recording).
