Can anyone clear this up for me?

I might be wrong but in the scene were three townspeople are trying to persuede Manuela to go to see Serafin while he is impersonating Macoco after he asked for her. One of them is the spitting image of the director Vincente Minnelli. I just want to know is this Minnelli in an uncredited cameo or is it juts somebody who looks unccannily like him?

I can't remember now who those three are, but I'm sure none of them is Minnelli. Try the DVD commentary - it names a lot of the bit players.

Definitely not him. I checked my DVD and no one in that scene looked even remotely like director Minnelli.

The commentator (on the DVD) named everybody in the cast every time anyone appeared and would have mentioned such a fact. And by the way, John Fricke's commentary was excellent and articulate. A pleasure to listen to.
