Was there ever a more masterful actress who could deliver delightful sarcasm other than Eve Arden? I think she wins that award hands down. I've always loved her work. Her nuances and timing are just wonderful to behold.
She came close to stealing this movie.

Agreed. Eve is just so likable. The whole cast, really, I thought was great. This was just such a fun, sweet movie.

I couldn't agree more. She delivers her lines perfectly. She doesn't try to ham it up like a lesser actor would do.
