You know . . .

. . .you've watched too much Twilight Zone when Burgess Meredith casually saying "I lost my glasses" cracks you up.

I caught this film, which I'd never seen, from about the middle this morning -- Dorothy Lamour's number was very funny.

I liked the premise, and the two segments I saw were OK. But, in both of them, the child actors were horrible (or badly directed, or both), which was really odd, considering the premise of the film. The little boy in the Fred MacMurray segment had a great mischievous smile and glint in his eye, but the overly-loud, tough-guy voice was so grating.

BTW, for trivia lovers, if anyone asks for a list of movies in which a character breaks the fourth wall, this film definitely qualifies.
