One of the reviews mentioned an implied rape. While this was full of overt sexuality, I don't recall any such implication. Can anyone tell me where this may have been implied?
"Why do you find it so hard to believe?" "Why do you find it so easy?" "It's never BEEN easy!"
There was going to be a rape in the upstairs room at Barney's cabin but then Slim and the fellas showed up and their arrival didn't allow for the rape to occur. Slim soon after shot the attempted rapist. The lead up to rape was indeed rather intense and exciting.
I think the clear implication was that Bailey took the time, brief as it may have been, to rape Miss Blandish. His loosening of his tie, his lack of discouragement when the visitors were announced, and then Miss B adjusting her shoulder strap as she headed downstairs to join them, all indicated to me that he "had his way with her." Remember, they chatted gangsta-style for quite some time before he emerged. Much in this movie, including reciting the hilarious dialog, took forever, and a little direction might have helped.
When the Grisson gang arrives though, Barney goes up to warn Bailey and we see a shot of Bailey with Miss Blandish, pinned against the wall, angry at having been interrupted. So he didn't get to have "his way with her."
