Problems with DVD transfer

I bought this "triple feature" DVD of Kirk Douglas today, it includes Big Trees, The Strange Love of Martha Ivers and My Dear Secretary. I'm watching 'Secretary' right now, and during the first 10 minutes or so there seems to be an annoying little clicking sound every few seconds for about a minute or two. It's like the sound you hear when you click on a button/link on a webpage (assuming you're running Windows on your computer that is). However I'm half way through the film right now, and the sounds are long gone now. There is also no restoration whatsoever, but then again this DVD only cost me $5 and its by an unknown company as far as I'm concerned (Madacy Home Video; this is actually one out of the ten DVD's in this series, the others include movies from Edward G. Robinson, Fred Astaire, James Cagney, among others).

I have just finally been able to watch this movie. So far I haven't had any problems with it. The verison I got is part of a double feature of Kirk Douglas. The other movie is The Master Touch. Got the DVD at Kmart for 1.99 the DVD is from some company called Vina Distributor. Never heard of it until I bought the DVD. Most of the ones I saw for sale, most of them are titles have been released many times
