I've loved this enchanting little fantasy since I was a child but never appreciated how subtle and affecting his work was in this film. His final scenes with Ann Blyth were touching and his light comedic ability was evident through the entire film.
shareI loved this movie as a child as well. William Powell was wonderful as Mr Peobody, though I didn't really appreciate Mr Powell's talent until I became an adult.
shareI agree, the charm of the movie is that you don't really apprciate it unless you've gone through the same feelings that Mr.Peabody goes through in the movie-I'm fairly young but when I first watched the film I was experiencing feelings that my life has passed me by and I haven't done half the things I wanted to get done-so it also proves you don't have to be an adult to appreciate this movie either.
