There is a scene in the movie where Mr. Peabody (William Powell) is teaching Lenore the mermaid (Ann Blyth) how to kiss. After he kisses her for the first time, she makes this rather bemused expression as if she's saying "I don't know what it is he just did to me.....but I like it!" She looks like Sierra Boggess as Ariel from the Broadway version of The Little Mermaid. Does anyone else see that?

And I think if Sierra had been around during Studio system days-she'd sort of like Ann Blyth-both were sopranos.
shareThat is ia good point, colleenrose91. I didn't get the chance to see Sierra as the Little Mermaid or as Christine in POTO but I think she is lovely and has a wonderful singing voice.

Its still not too late-YouTube has a bunch of clips of her performance-I don't want to post the link to them here because then they'll get taken down-but just type in "sierra boggess little mermaid" on YouTube sometime if ever you get the chance-I saw her live back in 2008, She was wonderful. She brought just the right amount of this wistful woman-child, mixed with this deep, sincere teen angst-which was an absolute thrill to watch live.
