First of all, a great name. Almost as good as "Trippy Trellis"

Second, not too subtle that Bunny must be gay, the things Bill and Mr Blandings said about him. Open toed sandles, LOL

Could also have been pointing to Bunny being "artistic" and a 1950's version of a hippie, artsy-fartsy type of person. You know,....funky!

I think gay. Both Grant and Douglas' characters seem to find humor in the fact that the man's name is "Bunny," which sounds more like a gay man's name than a beatnik's name. How many beatnik decorators were there in 1948 anyway?
