near the end of the movie

At the c!imax, when the trio are getting ready to turn in for the night, after talking in the hallway, Stephen playfully grabs his wife around the waist, and pulls her in the bedroom closing the door. Their friend has a sly smile on his face. We all know what those actions symbolize. I"m assuming they were newlyweds. But considering the Production Code of the era, the scene does come off as racy. But it does seem directors were taking liberties in regards to romantic scenes in the late 40's and 50's.
