Get your copy on DVD

After enjoying this film for many years, the last 4 years it has not been on Turner classic movie channel. I was told that this was because the title was licensed to another film on Disney channel and part of the license deal was not to air the old film as to take away from the new unrelated film. This comes from a friend that works with Turner. I have searched for this film for many years now I have found it. As of today the DVD can be purchased as an import, it has shown up on ebay for sale as a new sealed copy. I am not connected or do I have an interest in the sale of this product. I am just helping fellow fans of the movie. Good Luck.

Great movie! I hadn't seen it in years as well and then all of a sudden it appeared on HBO Family last month!! At first I thought it was the recent Disney movie of the same title when I noticed it on my on-screen channel guide...but sure enough it was Tyrone Power and Ann Baxter in brilliant black and white!!!

As luck would have it (no pun intended), I caught it a few minutes before it was to begin and I programed my DVR to record it. Unfortunately, my DVR decided to make room for an episode or two of Desperate Housewives and deleted it last week.

I guess I'll have to wait another ten years or so to capture this film. Incidentally, you can access the Turner Classic Movies website and vote for this or other films not yet on DVD to be released in DVD format.

Do you need a copy? It's still on my DVR box (never deleted it).

It was released today on DVD in the Tyrone Power Matinee Idol Collection.
