never seen this but Rita Hayworth's outfits?

I have never seen this film but I know of it due to lots of photos on the internet of Rita Hayworth's amazing outfits.

I assume Madonna and Lady GAGA have seen this film.

But putting aside the wardrobe is it another cult thing like Journey Into Fear?
