Montgomery's drinking scene is too funny!

I thought the movie started out a bit slow, and Montgomery smirked a little too much, but he gradually grew on me. The best part of the movie was when he and the father decided to have a little snort in the kitchen, away from the "temperanced" eyes of the mother. There was no brandy as Montgomery was hoping for, but there was apple cider which was kept hidden outside the window in a jug, partially frozen by the snow. Montgomery took the first drink very fast and didn't realize it was going to zing him good in a few seconds. That was one of the funniest drinking scenes I have ever scene.
