This isn't a great comedy , but a nice little comedy. I enjoyed it for what it was. Seeing Miss Davis in a rare comedy was cool. She is not at her best in comedies, but she gives it a shot!! I loved Miss Mary Wickes in this movie.

Yes, Robert Montgomery was not the best screen partner Bette ever worked with,

no great chemistry between them. a nice little comedy is all this movie is.

I thought she was always a hoot at comedy.
However, I find this movie quite boring.
And I don't think I was biased at all. For years all I could get about this movie was the mention about it being a stinker from the great 1-hour documentary All About Bette, where they showed the mannerism-filled scene of Davis vs Montgomery towards the end in the room with rugs on the wall (lol).
