What happened to Harry?????

Can't find any info. I'm assuming it was not a continuation, I also know the guy is Peter in second film, I'm just wondering if anyone knows why they made the change. Lol, this movie was made in the 40s, yet I'm curious.

Well the Huggetts are actually more of a "spin-off" from Holiday Camp. In Holiday Camp, their children are Joan and Harry. There is no Susan, Pet or Jane... or Peter. In the first actual Huggetts movie, Here Come the Huggetts, there is no mention of Joan or Harry or their grandbaby. They have "three beauties" their 3 daughters, Jane, Susan and Pet. The formula was the same for The Huggetts Abroad but in Vote For Huggett, Jane was missing.

I am assuming that they changed the formula from Holiday Camp to have Joe and Ethel be younger (no grandchildren) and the actor who played the son had matured so much it would have probably distracted from this concept a bit so they made him into Peter, the love-lorn interest of Susan, which he remained throughout the trilogy.
