I love He Walked By Night.

It's a unique, beautifully shot (John Alton) little noir/policier.

I recently chopped it up and recycled it into a couple of short films set to gangsta rap.

WARNING - bad language, including the N-word, and a scene of self-surgery in the video which might be disturbing for some.

It's a fun thing to do and I recommend it for noir fans.

I used Final Cut Pro X, but it should also be possible with iMovie and the Windows equivalent.

Easy.

Just download a noir from the Internet Archive, chop, shuffle, set to music.
