Jump Cut?

At roughly 28:00-28:02, it appears there is a Jump Cut. Although it could stem from any of various sources (lack of funds for proper editing, something lost in the transer, etc), it appears that this hasn't been brought up. Curious if anyone else noticed?

I have a DVD copy of this film published by Republic Pictures, distributed by Lions Gate Home Entertainment.

I just played it again, and scrolled up to the 28:00 vicinity (which was when Joe Morse and Peggy were riding in the cab, Peggy with an armload of flowers? yes?), and this copy proceeds along smoothly, they are riding in the cab in a fairly wide two-shot, with both of them from the waist up. There is a cut there, and the camera pulls in to a little tighter, two button, two-shot and Peggy asks Morse "what are you trying to make me think about myself... and you?", but it seems fairly normal to me? Maybe not the smoothest cut in the world, but not too shabby?

I just watched it again, and while it is abrupt, it is also 2 setups and may have been the director wanting to move us in a bit as they were getting more personal (a common trick). I think if any studio had the funds to do proper editing it is MGM.

I noticed a few. I think it was probably the usual low budget and rush to release. Some could've been artistic choices.
