Won't someone please put this movie on TV or DVD so I can watch it. I recall seeing it as a young boy, and for some reason, scenes in it will not leave my head...and I do not understand why. I would like to see this movie as an adult and try to understand its impact on my memory.

shareI saw the original in the theater with my mom in 48!! For some strange reason, for years I remembered the hit and run scene, but could not remember the name of the movie. I eventually found it with some help from the Library of Congress. Apparently, you and I are the only ones who want to see it again.

This movie was finally on TCM last night, and thanks to DIRECTV I got to record it. I've been waiting since 1948 to see it a second time.
