Every Easter

Just as I watch watch White Christmas every Christmas I watch Easter Parade every Easter. This is one of my favorite films. I also was born in 1948 so we are the same age. I love the start when Fred whistles and greets everyone with a Happy Easter. The toy shop was well filmed. Notice the background of the shop clerks going about their business, it was very realistic. Another realistic touch was Fred trying to cajole Ann Miller to dance on the porch and she tells him it was too cold and she warms herself by the fireplace, fabulous. This film was one the best acting Judy has done next to Star Is Born.Judy complains that the rubber band on her leg began to bother her, great! In other films that would have been forgotten. I learned to do the Walk Up The Avenue routine just by watching it and done it in a community talent show with a partner and we were a hit. Just as I dye eggs every Easter I will always watch and enjoy Easter Parade.

I watch it every year too! I love this film, and can't imagine an Easter without it. As far as your talent show act...AMAZING! I really love that song, and love doing goofy things at talent shows and other community events. There is no doubt in my mind that you were a hit!
